Julie Grannan is a Medical Acupuncturist and a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner. She graduated from Indiana University Southeast in 1999 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing, and in 2004 she completed a Master’s degree from Indiana University Purdue University at Indianapolis. Julie is a Southern Indiana native and has served the community for over twenty years. As Primary Care Provider, she has been meeting the healthcare needs of patients for over eighteen years. Most recently she has worked in hospital medicine caring for the acutely ill, further increasing her knowledge of providing quality care to those most in need.

In 2022, Julie experienced acupuncture for the first time. The experience had such profoundly positive effects on her health and wellbeing that she became deeply curious about why and how it worked. She is now a graduate of the Integrated Structural Acupuncture Course by Acumed . This American Board of Medical Acupuncture approved training course is based on the Japanese style of Kiiko acupuncture. While this education teaches traditional Chinese Medical theory, it focuses on palpatory diagnostic findings to guide individualized treatment. Julie is excited to fully shift her focus to Eastern Medicine while bringing with her, her many years of experience in Western Medicine. She looks forward to guiding patients down the path to wellness and renewed health.
